Some edible DIY wedding favors ideas for Irish Weddings.
When we think of Ireland, thoughts spring to mind of the colour green. Green fields, lush trees amazing scenery. Lady luck is always associated with the green color in Ireland. The Shamrock and Claddagh are also a large part of Irish Tradition.
Edible Irish Wedding Favours could be in the shape of a shamrock with green foil wrapped around the chocolates. Brides can wrap several edible shamrock chocolates in a clear wrapper and tie with a beautiful mint green ribbon to secure the favour. You can ask your venue hosts to arrange your chocolates on a plate to be served with coffee and teas after your wedding breakfast.
Another idea would be to wrap the chocolates in a silver wrapper and stamp a tiny shamrock onto the top of the chocolate wrapper.
Brides could perhaps melt their own chocolate and place the melted chocolate into claddagh mouldings and place around your wedding table as table decorations or as Irish Favors.
The chocolates can be made by brides themselves as a do it yourself Irish wedding favour. They can melt some quality chocolate and place into moulds. Either in the shape of a Shamrock or in the shape of a Claddagh ring. Once the chocolate has set the favors can then be placed into either clear plastic wrappers or perhaps some green tulle and secured with a green ribbon.
You can always mix together shamrocks and claddagh chocolates. This would make an ideal present. If you are not confident at making your own moulds then you can order from chocolaterie’s around the country.
