3 Cheap and Cheerful Candy Wedding Centerpieces!

While planning a wedding there are countless small details to consider and many couples become overwhelmed by both the planning and the price of it all. This is why some couples decide to think outside the box, limit the amount of floral arrangements and explore alternative centerpiece concepts. Candy wedding centerpieces have become quite popular in the last few years due to the fact that they are cheap, cheerful and creative! Here are three ways to design and create your own!

1.Bowl Your Guests over! Collect an arrangement of different size and depth of glass bowls and fill them all with an assortment of seasonal sweets! Arrange three or five bowls in the center of each table. Place a small scoop in each bowl and supply each of your guests with a simple paper bag to fill when the night comes to an end. To make this centerpiece even more personal, have you and your partner sign a personal thank-you and short message on each of the goodie bags!

2.Fun Candy Flower Pots! All you need for these simple and sweet candy wedding centerpieces are a few terra cotta flower pots, some kabob skewers and a variety of your favorite gummy candies! Begin by layering your candies, one by one onto each of the kabob skewers. Complete as many skewers as you need to fill each of your flower pots and place an arrangement of “candy plants” in the center of each table! Your guest will love plucking off sweets through out the night, and your reception will be filled with creative personality and color!

3.Lolli-Pop Lineup! This candy wedding centerpiece is perfect for the couple who love a good lolli-pop! Begin by filling a shallow rectangular dish with floral foam or colored décor gravel. Now, stick as many lolli-pops into the container as needed to satisfy your guest’s sweet tooth! If you are looking for a great way to incorporate your wedding colors, choose solid colored suckers in each of your wedding colors and arrange them in groups or in rows to add a bright and cheerful splash to your reception tables.
